Green Family Festival FAQs

Hours: Saturday, April 17,  10:00AM – 6:00PM; Sunday, April 18, 10:00AM – 5:00PM

Cost to Attend: $5.00 per family OR bagged. canned food donation for Chicago’s Catholic Charities (to assist families in the Chicago area.)

Activities of note to date:

-  Mr. Fix-It Lou Manfredini keynotes on Saturday, April 17, at 10:30 – “Green Building Tops and Techniques.”

-  Working Bikes.org will host a Bike Swap on Saturday so please bring along any unused bicycles for donation.  Working bikes has donated thousands of bikes to needy people throughout the world.  Visit http://www.workingbikes.org

-  Green Family Festival will offer several areas for families with disabled members, including a quiet, calming room and diaper changing facilities for larger people.  The Irish American Heritage Center is completely handicapped accessible.
