Activities

Activity areas on each floor of the Irish American Heritage Center will involve children and parents in art projects, music, interactive activities, exercise, reading, and other fun stuff for both grown-ups and children.

Throughout the weekend, families will be able to enjoy:

• hands on art and recycling projects
• music, exercise, and other healthy activities
• animals of all types
• singing and dancing groups representing cultures from around the world
• organic, locally grown food
• yoga, dance, and other beneficial, fun fitness and bodywork for kids and families tips on building and remodeling incorporating the latest energy efficient and sustainable materials
• entertainment - signing, dancing, and interactive projects - for all age groups

The Irish American Heritage Center, located at 4626 North Knox Avenue in Chicago, is a beautiful, turn of the century former school with free parking and easy access, just a few blocks from the Kennedy Expressway. Check back often for updates!!
